Thanks! took me a while to find the right combination, but I ended up using a alpha of  128 in the material and the same color/alpha for the default 206 in FS9.

Yep, nice work - make a good repainting template, because this one is going to be popular.

Wink Ahhh.....(insert slapping forehead smiley here)

Top is left...second it right just flipped, and that last one is the shadow from inside of the engine nacelles... The last one is not entirely mapped, just a small portion of it, but as of right now I have not needed to map more exterior parts...(probably as I get further into it...)

Oh, okay... I can see that having the right side 'flipped' will make painting and lining up seams, etc. easier.  With the power of today's Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro, flipping text is so easy it makes sense to make the larger, more detailed fuselage, etc. easier to paint...  Cool

There are several websites where if you have a reference photo available it will be analyzed and the font will be identified for you.

Ok...so I am still plugging away at this...For some reason the chin bubble just didn't look right to me, so I tweaked it just a bit more. Making it less edgy. I also played around with the glass setting just a tad bit more, as I felt it also just didn't look right. Also tried the work around for the 4mm autoweld...gotta say...sweetness!

Nice reflections on the windows mate! They are very subtle and just enough to give the illusion of having perspex in front of your face...  Wink

Thanks! I do not like the FS reflections in the VC on the windows, so what I did it I made it a transparent part, and basically took a screenshot from FS looking down on the panel.... This way if gives that illusion, while not creating headaches, by looking at osccilating reflections....The side windows though, do have the standard reflection on them.

Funny you mention that....
Sometimes I hate my attention to detail....
Tail boom has been lowered to more of a straight angle based of numerous photos I found...Plus the textures have been worked over some more...

(I know that "perfection" thingy too well...)

I find the panel lines too dark and noticable. Having them a bit lighter could help. Smiley

Isn't it easier to finish the base model before making different variants? (That way you can build the other variants of a finished model instead of updating 10 models every time you change something)

Just a thought.

Cool

PS: I really like the glass door variant!!

Base model is pretty much done. Problem with me though, is that every time I work on a new variant, I see a tweak that is needed in the base model.

Well, After a lot of poly pushing, I decided that I was not happy with how it turned out....So, I ended up completely redoing the fuselage...Doors still need to be made, but now it has the hump for the fuselage plug, and now has the correct shape.
