Hi guys,

I notice that the famous '_t' extension behind the name of a texture that is supposed to generate reflection instead of transparency, always used in FS9, is still present with quite a few native FSX models. Quite a few but certainly not all.... It's because of this i thought i'd pop the question here : why do some native FSX models still use the '_t' expression with some of the textures' names and others do not ?....

I mean, one would think that, because of all the fancy new FSX texture opportunities this '_t' expression is really not needed anymore .... ??   Roll Eyes

Just curious....  Huh

Any explanation highly appreciated.

cheers,
Jan

Hi
Its not needed but I use it mainly for house keeping (I have a bad memory) _T for reflective,_A for transparent.......  yeah I know I should use _T for transparency and _R for reflective but If I  bring stuff over from fs9 Ill only get confused Cheesy
