Dear All,

So far I am using the file "Fk50_fuselage-vertical-right_L.bmp" to make logo light on the vertical tail.

However, It is doesn't work on FSX, Do I just rename it as "Fk50_fuselage-vertical-right_LM.bmp"

or Do I need to use FSDSxtweak?

I am quite confusing how to do it!

Please help!

Thanks!

Gordon

Not sure about this one. Have you tried setting an emissive bitmap the same one one does for VC lighting? Would that work?

Hi
from the sdk
The Additive User Controlled option is usually chosen to enable light-splash on the aircraft’s surface so it can be engaged and disengaged as the lights are switched on and off.
All the UserControlled options apply only when the Panel switch is turned on
.
If you want to se the logo light switch You might be able to do it with an effect, how I have no idea Smiley
Cheers

...and there lies the stinking pile of poo that we're left holding, since the "Great Sacking of ACES..."  Shocked

I cannot imagine why some idiot "wired" all the lighting busses in series with the bloody panel lights switch...  Roll Eyes

We can of course use any of the various blend modes except ...UserControlled, provided we supply our own control logic via the modeldef.xml file:

Code:
  <PartInfo>
    <Name>light_logo_vis</Name>
    <Visibility>
	<Parameter>
	  <Code>
	    (A:LIGHT LOGO,bool)
	    (A:ELECTRICAL MASTER BATTERY,bool)
	    and
	  </Code>
	</Parameter>
    </Visibility>
  </PartInfo>

  <PartInfo>
    <Name>light_logo_invis</Name>
    <Visibility>
	<Parameter>
	  <Code>
	    (A:LIGHT LOGO,bool) !
	  </Code>
	</Parameter>
    </Visibility>
  </PartInfo>

Select the polys for the tal you wish to light, make a copy of them, then apply the conditions as shown above to show/hide the lighted and unlighted polygons.  Cool

Not really understand! Where to apply the condition in FSDS3.5?

Select some polygons ? , but the logo light on is a spot light on the tail, not just some ploygons light on in the tail!
