Is it possible to use keyboard commands, e.g. CTRL+7, to set a custom L:variable in an xml gauge?
If it is possible, what code is required?

Cheers

Hi,

Not that I know of.  What I do is utilize an unused FS variable (an A: variable) that has a keyboard equivalent (or I can set one). Some examples are spoilers, tailhook, wing fold (only works on the ground), water rudder, etc.

Thought that would probably be the case.

Reason I asked is that there's an add-on for FSX that uses keyboard commands to control its functions (within a dll file), but there are no xml L:variables defined that could be utilised in other xml gauges.

Cheers
